We had been trying to come to terms with our collections by engaging resources which was having limited impact.

At issue were the terms of that agreement and the basis under which the business was struggling to support it and move forward. The cash book was in a poor state and the incumbent credit team operating without guidance nor control. I engaged Keith to identify the opportunities to bring the cash book back into order, set targets, supply guidance and structure to the incumbent credit team and then make an assessment of the structure that he deemed fit for the future success of the business.

Keith put in place a formalized reporting structure, allocated responsibilities to the individual team members, gave one on one tuition to the team and made recommendations for the future structure of the team. The end result saw an improved credit process, improved overdue debt levels, professional communication with the firms client base, organised credit effort and a clearly defined true debt collection picture of the firm.

Most importantly we were able to approach the funding company and negotiate a better deal due to the efforts, processes and results of Keith’s work with the firm.
